THE ASLAN SOCIETY is an interdenominational fellowship of faculty and staff at Arizona State University who are interested in the relationship of Christian faith with their vocation at the university. Our name is taken from The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis, in which Aslan the Lion symbolizes Jesus Christ, the Lion of Judah. The Aslan Society seeks to encourage fellowship, prayer, development, outreach, and service. Members of the Society have faithfully hosted weekly Bible and book studies, prayer gatherings, and fellowship groups. Also, for many years, the Society sponsored monthly lunches with a variety of speakers and programs. We plan to restart these lunches in the spring and welcome all faculty and staff at ASU to participate. Let us know if you are interested!
